- 01 June 2001
Packaged in heavy duty stainless steel, the 59075-010 sensor from Hamlin Electronics is designed to accept the most arduous of tasks, from indicating that an excavator bucket is up or down to measuring shaft speed on a rock crusher. Hamlin supplies a sensor which matches up to the to the shock and vibration experienced by the system. Packaged in an M12 threaded barrel 46mm x 10.5mm diameter, the sensor is easy to fix at the required location. The sensor offers durability, reliability and power to match, with an operating distance of up to 10mm a release distance of 30mm and the capability of switching 50W. The reed-sensing element is magnetically triggered so it is totally isolated from the actuator and requires no power other than the magnet to operate it. With switching speeds faster than 1millisecond and life under most load conditions exceeding 10's of millions of operations, this is a sensor that engineers requiring rugged reliability cannot ignore.
